This is an exciting role as a key developer solving problems facing our finance, middle office and trading desks to ensure smooth operation of our trading strategies and financial reporting.

These systems have to process millions of transactions from dozens of different exchange and banking platforms around the world in dozens of currencies (fiat and crypto).

Job Responsibilities

• Work with the finance and middle office teams and traders to understand the core problems facing the team and firm’s cryptocurrency trading.

• Keep up to date on latest developments in the Decentralized Finance (DeFi) and cryptocurrency space.

• Design and build systems to facilitate trading activities, focused on middle office and finance functions accounting for trading on centralized and decentralized crypto exchanges.

• Develop full stack solutions using databases, message queues, websockets, HTTP and UI's to solve the complex problems involved in cryptocurrency trading

• Develop reports, monitoring tools, deployment tools and troubleshooting tools for our trading and accounting systems.

• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues as and when they occur  

• Engage with the wider team in system design discussions, code reviews, problem solving, brain-storms and daily office banter

Who you are

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, or other related discipline (although strong software development experience with a less directly related degree will be considered)

• 2-5 years’ relevant working experience, preferably in financial service industry such as a hedge fund, securities firm, bank, fund administrator or cryptocurrency firm

• A strong interest in decentralized finance and cryptocurrencies, and solving complicated puzzles that arise in this line of business.

• Can demonstrate good programming skills in Python, with a strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.

• Strong skills in data design.

• Able to articulate ideas and concepts clearly.

• Reliable, take pride in delivering robust software and are willing to be on call to support the systems you develop.

• Must be highly organized, have strong attention to detail and the ability to meet established deadlines

• Ability to be resourceful, work effectively as a team player and can clearly communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization

• Enjoy trouble shooting and problem solving

• High integrity, self-confident, positive and creative mind

• Good oral and written communication skills in English

About the role

As our Engineering Technical Lead - Mobile, you will be responsible for leading the continued development, optimization, and expansion of our mobile application built with React Native. You will be in a pivotal technical leadership role to ensure cross-functional teams build the right solutions that solve customer problems in a way that is secure, extensible, and scalable for the future. You will be expected to govern the technical maturity of the respective domain, having a clear view of the architectural challenges and how to remediate them over time.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the mobile development team, providing technical leadership and mentorship.

• Architect and implement mobile application features for iOS and Android according to the design provided by the design team.

• Ensure feature parity between the mobile app and the SaaS web platform.

• Develop and maintain a high-performance, scalable mobile application using React Native.

• Conduct comprehensive performance optimization and stability improvements.

• Implement robust testing strategies.

• Improve continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes with Fastlane.

• Collaborate closely with product management, design, and backend teams.

• Review code, provide technical guidance, and maintain high coding standards.

Job requirements

• 7+ years of professional mobile application development experience

• 5+ years of experience with React Native

• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript

• Proven experience in developing and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications

• Strong understanding of iOS and Android platform-specific considerations

• Experience with state management solutions (Redux)

• Experience with mobile app performance optimization techniques

• Experience with mobile app testing frameworks

• Understanding of RESTful API integration

We are hiring a Senior React Developer!

We are looking for a Senior React Frontend Developer who will be responsible for developing the user side of our agent management product and improving the user experience. They will need to collaborate with the design and development teams to create web applications. The candidate must be able to build testable, reusable, and scalable applications.

The backend is developed in RUST and is accessible via REST APIs.

What you'll do:

• Be the core member of our new UI development team

• Develop the agent management UI

• Write reusable, effective, and scalable JavaScript code

• UI: The application will be expected to handle hundreds of thousands of agents with relatively few users.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Lead both the migration of our solution to containers and the overall design and implementation for container orchestrators such as OpenShift, Kubernetes and Amazon EKS

• Create and maintain docker files, manifest files, and HELM Charts for different environmentsorchestrators
